Background:
Vale of Catmose College is a secondary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is 11 to 16. The college was founded in 1920 and extended in the 60s and 70s becoming a community college in 1963. It has excellent facilities for all subjects, including a sports centre with swimming pool and a good library. Sport is a part of the curriculum for all students. There are many opportunities outside of its lessons to play sports at a recreational or competitive level. Students take part in: soccer, basketball, netball, rugby, athletics, cricket, dance, hockey and tennis. The school aims to offer a happy, safe and secure environment in a family atmosphere.
